Helping Hands at Van Meter

Welcome new, and returning families, to the 2023-2024 school year at LVM. We are fortunate to have such an amazing LVM community. Parent volunteers are critical in making every school year at Van Meter a success, so thank you! 

Visit sign up genius to see the many different opportunities we have to get involved. You'll find tabs for Room Parent, Project Cornerstone, and 7 others for the first half of the school year. Read through each description and choose which work best for you and your family. Once you sign up, make sure you fulfill these district requirements for parent volunteers on campus:

2.Then register through Permission Click at https://permission.click/L1JXB/us/gvXk/signee-info

3. Field Trip drivers will need a driver form - you can request one from Christine in our front office, cfrank@lgusd.org

4. (NEW) Drivers will also need to be fingerprinted this year. You can make an appointment at various Livescan fingerprinting vendors in the area.
